I can write a book about Kulani. She has positively impacted me in many ways. Shes one in a million leader who leads by example, set clear goals, encourages learning, celebrates success, provides opportunities for growth through new challenges/professional development. Kulani is a great mentor who walks the journey with every individual. Not forgetting how she demonstrates emotional intelligence. She promotes work-life balance, takes time to listen to individual and teams concerns, ideas and challenges. To where I am today, I look back remembering Kulani's wisdom words that best describes the person she is aand the team she had "Go Getters". One last wisdom words saying "feedback is a gift",meaning you'll never know until one provides you with a feedback, don't take it personal, take it and use it as your learning curve or at your advantage. I can never wish to have another leader besides her.

Before meeting Kulani, I've always gravitated towards specialist roles in my data and analytics career as I never believed I had what it takes to manage and grow people. Kulani gave me an opportunity to do exactly that. She took a chance on me and entrusted me with people very close to her heart, people she had dedicated a lot of her personal time to growing and upskilling in the art of data management and governance. One of the things I appreciated and I guess one of her natural talents, was that she saw me, the real me hidden within layers of self-doubt and still knew exactly how to make the most of my strengths both for my benefit and that of the team. Because of her leadership and growth mindset, I'm now able to see myself assuming and appreciating leadership roles.

I owe a great deal of gratitude to my mentor, Kulani, who played a pivotal role in helping me clarify my goals and dreams. Her guidance was instrumental in navigating my career, and I'm thrilled to say that I'm now a Solution Architect, thanks in large part to her mentorship. While there are many ways in which Kulani has positively impacted my life, her influence on my career trajectory stands out as a highlight.

2024 was my first official year working, and my biggest scar was having a scary boss and a team that was not welcoming. She held my hand from day one, creating a safe environment for me to grow personally and also in my carrer. I remember the day she came to introduce herself as my boss at the intern expro day, I knew I found a sister. She has been so supportive in every step I've taken, she has given me exposure and have empower me to tap into my full potential and to have confidence in voicing out my voice in rooms I never thought I could. Her impact in my life is emaculate, which is not only seen by my team but also by my family and my friends. She is really an extraordinary woman.
